Rosemary, Gin, and Grapefruit Cocktail Recipe

What better way to ring in Spring and to enjoy all your Springtime celebrations than with this perfect cocktail. Check out our delicious rosemary, gin, and grapefruit cocktail recipe. You only need five ingredients and can make it in a matter of minutes.

You can tweak it to your liking of course.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces of gin

  • 3 ounces of ruby red grapefruit juice

  • 1-ounce of rosemary simple syrup (you can purchase the syrup or make it yourself)

  • Sprigs of rosemary to garnish

  • Grapefruit wedges to garnish

Rosemary Simple Syrup

If you are making the rosemary simple syrup yourself, you will need the following ingredients.

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1 cup of water

  • 2 sprigs of fresh rosemary

Instructions

Ready to make the rosemary simple syrup? Here are your instructions.

  • Combine the simple syrup ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat.

  • Allow the mixture to get to a boil, then let it simmer until the sugar dissolves. You’ll need about 2 minutes.

  • Remove the pan from the heat. Allow the mixture to completely cool down.

  • Remove and discard the rosemary stems before using the syrup.

Now, let’s get to the cocktail.

  • Combine cocktail ingredients in a shaker with ice.

  • Shake for a few seconds until everything is combined.

  • Strain into ice-filled glass.

  • Garnish with grapefruit wedges and rosemary sprigs if desired.
