Avocado Toast Recipe
Avocado toast is the newest phenomenon sweeping the nation. It’s quick, versatile, delicious, and healthy. Depending on the toppings selected, it can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Avocados contain a lot of heart-healthy unsaturated fats and a good amount of fiber. They offer a creamy consistency and are naturally sodium, sugar, and cholesterol-free. The fats found in avocados are ideal for providing a hearty, filling meal for all ages.
Ingredients
4 medium slices of sourdough bread
2 medium avocados
1/2 lemon
1/4 tsp of Chili Flakes
1/4 tsp of Himalayan sea salt
1/4 tsp of cracked black pepper
2 tbsp of finely chopped red onions
Instructions
Toast the bread until golden and firm.
Peel the avocado, remove the pit, scoop out the flesh and slice thinly.
Add sliced avocado over toast
Sprinkle lemon juice over the avocado to keep avocados from browning.
Sprinkle sea salt, black peppers, and chili flakes
Garnish with red onions
